Warranty and License

About Shareware:

Shareware is a distribution method, not a type of software. Shareware distribution gives users a chance to try software before buying it so the user knows exactly what he buys and takes no risk. If you try a Shareware program and continue using it, you are required to register it.

License for use and distribution:

1. All copyrights to Visual Comparer are exclusively owned by the author - Nikeware.
   
   
2. Anyone may use this software during a test period of 30 days. After the 30 day test period you must either delete the shareware version of our software from your computer, or purchase the registered version to obtain a full license.
   
   
3. The Visual Comparer trial version may be freely distributed, provided the distribution package is not modified. No person or company may charge a fee for the distribution of Visual Comparer without written permission from the copyright holder.
   
   
4. Visual Comparer IS DISTRIBUTED "AS IS". NO WARRANTY OF ANY KIND IS EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. YOU USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. THE AUTHOR WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR DATA LOSS, DAMAGES, LOSS OF PROFITS OR ANY OTHER KIND OF LOSS WHILE USING OR MISUSING THIS SOFTWARE.
   
   
5. You may not use, copy, emulate, clone, rent, lease, sell, modify, decompile, disassemble, otherwise reverse engineer, or transfer the licensed program, except as provided for in this agreement. Any such unauthorized use shall result in immediate and automatic termination of this license. All rights not expressly granted here are reserved by Nikeware.
   
   
6. Installing and using Visual Comparer signifies acceptance of these terms and conditions of the license.
   
   
7. If you do not agree with the terms of this license you must remove Visual Comparer files from your storage devices and cease to use the product.
   
   

Some limitations in trial version:

• You can't invoke "Parking splitter" command;
• You can't set normal width of scrollbar in the comparison map;
• You can't centre splitter bar by double mouse click on him;
• splitter bar is not centered automatically after start of the application;

Note: We don't think similar restrictions touching functionality of the application.

New versions:

Periodically, we will release new versions of Visual Comparer and updated documentation. If you have already license for Visual Comparer, you may download new versions of the program without further charge for minor versions.
